Zanzibar School Of Health, we offer different Diploma courses, the following a list of our Diploma courses and their  entry requirements 

DIPLOMA IN CLINICAL MEDICINE

Admission to the program will be open to candidates who have a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with a minimum of twenty eight points (28) including a pass in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. An additional pass in English and Mathematics is an added advantage.

DIPLOMA IN GENERAL NURSING

Admission to the programs is open to candidates with the following qualification and requirements: Have completed Certificate in Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with three passes at least grade C in Science subjects namely Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics. Biology being compulsory. Pass in English language is an added advantage.

DIPLOMA IN COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY

This course is under affiliation with University of Iringa. Admission to the programs is open to candidates with the following qualification and requirements:

  1. Advanced certificate of secondary education examination (ACESEE) with a.At least one principal level pass in any subject OR b.At least 2 subsidiary level passes in the (ACESEE)

  2. Diploma holders with the grade-point average of at least C in a professional field related to counseling such as social welfare, nursing, Theology, Community development, Education, Medical Practice, Primary Health care, Recreation trainers, Tour operators and Law enforcers.

  3. Certificates holders with professional experience of three years and above in the field related to counseling such as teaching, theology, Medical practice, Primary health care, Rehabilitation officers, (police and prison officers), social workers and tour operators.

DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The student's admission requirements are based on the following conditions and categories:

Category A: Direct Entry (Form VI graduates)

Applicants eligible for direct admission to the Community Development diploma programme must have earned: A Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with credit passes in three or more subjects, obtained prior to sitting for the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSEE). AND An Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least one principle level passes and two subsidiaries from all disciplines of studies.

Category B:Equivalent Qualifications

Applicants eligible for equivalent admission to the Diploma in Community Development programme must either be a form four leaver, with at least three credits or five passes and attended a certificate course in Community Development or in related e.g. Rural Development, Agriculture Extension, Education, Social work etc. with an overall average of B from a recognised institution.
