Zanzibar School of Health (ZSH) was established as an autonomous higher learning institution registered by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) as REG/HAS/123 and fully accredited.
Zanzibar School of Health (ZSH) invites dynamic and suitable qualified applicants to fill the vacant posts mentioned below:
1.0 TUTOR FOR DISASTER MANAGEMENT – 3 POSTS
  1.1 Duties and Responsibilities

   ? Prepare, facilitate, and deliver competency based teaching in classroom and clinical areas using different teaching methods as per curriculum requirements
   ? Prepare and submit course materials such as course outline (CBLA), assessment plan, handouts, and assessment (CA and semester examinations) to the Head of the Department
   ? Supervise students’ in fieldwork.
   ? Evaluate and grade students’ class work, fieldwork, assignments, and papers.
   ? Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and academic issues.
   ? Advise students on academic and career issues.
   ? Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
   ? Communicate student’s progress to course coordinators
   ? Maintain required documentation of tutoring sessions
   ? Participate in academic or administrative committees and school activities/events as required.
  1.2 Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
   ? Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Disaster Management, Emergency Management, and Disaster Risk Management with a minimum GPA of 3.5. The applicant should have the above specialization in their degree and not just a university course/module in disaster management.
   ? Minimum two years of relevant working experience in the field of Disaster Management
   ? Experience in teaching at College or University level is desirable


2.0 TUTOR FOR PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES – 3 POSTS
  2.1 Duties and Responsibilities

   ? Prepare, facilitate, and deliver competency based teaching in classroom and clinical areas using different teaching methods as per curriculum requirements
   ? Prepare and submit course materials such as course outline (CBLA), assessment plan, handouts, and assessment (Continuous Assessment and Semester Examinations) to the Head of the Department
   ? Supervise students’ in fieldwork.
   ? Evaluate and grade students' class work, fieldwork, practicals, assignments, and papers.
   ? Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and academic issues.
   ? Advise students on academic and career issues.
   ? Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
   ? Communicate student’s progress to the course coordinator
   ? Maintain required documentation of tutoring sessions
   ? Participate in academic or administrative committees and school activities/events as required.
  2.2 Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
   ? Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with at least a GPA of 3.5. The applicant should have the above specialization in their degree and not just a university course of Pharmaceutical Sciences
   ? Minimum two years of relevant working experience in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
   ? Experience in teaching at College or University level is desirable.


3.0 TUTOR FOR CLINICAL MEDICINE – 3 POSTS
  3.1 Duties and Responsibilities
   ? Prepare, facilitate, and deliver competency based teaching in classroom and clinical areas using different teaching methods as per curriculum requirements
   ? Prepare and submit course materials such as course outline (CBLA), assessment plan, handouts, and assessment (CA and semester examinations) to the Head of the Department
   ? Supervise students’ in fieldwork.
   ? Evaluate and grade students’ class work, fieldwork, assignments, and papers.
   ? Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and academic issues.
   ? Advise students on academic and career issues.
   ? Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
   ? Communicate student’s progress to course coordinators

  3.2 Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
   ? Holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
   ? Certification from Tanzania Medical Board or Zanzibar Medical Council
   ? Minimum one year of relevant working experience
   ? Experience in teaching at College or University level is desirable
