This course teaches students the fundamentals of counseling and psychotherapy, enabling them to provide psychological support and guidance to individuals, families, and groups. Graduates of this program can work as counseling psychologists in various settings, such as schools, hospitals, mental health centers, and private practices, providing therapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups facing mental health challenges or life transitions.
Entry Requirements: Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes in non-religious subjects.
Study Duration: Three years with the following breakdown:
- First-year: Basic Technician Certificate in Counseling Psychology
- Second-year: Technician Certificate in Counseling Psychology
- Third-year: Ordinary Diploma in Counseling Psychology
