This course trains students in providing comprehensive healthcare to patients, focusing on both nursing care and midwifery skills. Students learn to assist in childbirth, prenatal and postnatal care, as well as general nursing duties. Graduates from this course can pursue careers as registered nurses or midwives in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, or private practice, providing care to patients and assisting with childbirth and maternal health.
Entry Requirements: Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with four (4) passes in non-religious subjects including Chemistry, Biology, and Physics/Engineering Sciences.
Study Duration: Three years with the following breakdown:
- First-year: Basic Technician Certificate in Nursing and Midwifery
- Second-year: Technician Certificate in Nursing and Midwifery
- Third-year: Ordinary Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
